Sandra Roberts

Sandra (Sandy) Roberts recently retired from the Center for Disability Rights in West Haven, CT, where she worked for 33 years providing advocacy, information and referral services, and independent living skills training. She holds both a Bachelor’s and master’s in social work from Southern Connecticut State University. Since giving up driving four years ago, Sandy has relied on public transportation, including buses, paratransit, wheelchair-accessible cabs, and trains, to navigate the state.
