Kristen Cusato

Kristen Cusato, with over 20 years’ experience as a television journalist across New York, Texas, Connecticut, and California, transitioned to advocacy following her mother’s 2009 Lewy Body Dementia diagnosis. She moved from San Diego to New York to support her mother and worked with the Connecticut chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, sharing her caregiving experiences. After her mother’s passing at 65, Kristen became the Director of Communications for the Connecticut Chapter and a Research Champion for the New England Region. She also hosts the podcast “Speaking of Alzheimer’s,” aiming to raise disease awareness, promote chapter services, and educate about new treatments and research.
