Emily Ball

Emily Ball is a long-time self-advocate, dedicated to empowering Connecticut’s youth to advocate for themselves, focusing on navigating middle school, high school, and postsecondary life. A 2018 graduate of Manchester Community College with an associate’s degree as a Disability Specialist, Emily interned with the UConn UCEDD LEND program and graduated from Partners in Policymaking. She co-chairs CT Kids as Self Advocates and is involved in the CT Community Health Work Coalition, Family Voices Telehealth webinars, and Keep the Promise Mental Health Coalition. Emily is also a member of the CT Council on Developmental Disabilities. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, waterskiing, downhill skiing, horseback riding, and spending time with her two dogs and two cats.
