Alison Barkoff

Alison Barkoff is the Harold and Jane Hirsh Associate Professor of Health Law and Policy and the Hirsh Program Director at the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health. She previously led the Administration for Community Living at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, advising on aging and disability policy and overseeing national programs and cross-agency initiatives related to long-term services and supports, civil rights, housing, caregiving, and public health. With over 25 years of experience, she is a nationally recognized expert in disability and aging policy, Medicaid, LTSS, and civil rights.
